There was about 50 people missing from the high school today. That's a lot, considering my high school only has about 120 people in it. Everyone's out from either the flu or the swine flu. They are considering closing the school for a while. I really hope i don't get the swine flu.

Soooo, my schools homecoming dance was on Saturday, and of course, i didn't go. Mostly because I suck at dancing, and i wasn't feeling too well. But I heard a lot of things about it. Like, there was some people that showed up to the dance drunk. And there was an after party, and a lot of people were drinking. Including freshman. I'm a freshman, and I find this shocking. What worries me, is that I seem to be the only one concerned about this. No one else seems to care. Some think it's "cool". I just don't understand. How is that "cool"? How does that make them more popular? I have no idea. It's stupid. Drinking alcohol before your brain is fully developed will damage it. Our school has had tons of people come and talk to us about how under aged drinking can cause problems. I suppose those people weren't listening.

well, whatever. Maybe I'm over reacting.

Anyway, school is awesome this year. I love High School. It's ten times better than middle school. And so far, it seems easier. Well, except for art. It's not as fun. And everything else is great. I'm making good grades, and I'm finally happy with my life.
